Started in 2009, the Beacon Hill Food Forest is a 5 acre site located in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. It was built to provide food, educational opportunities, and community to those living nearby and includes an edible arboretum, berry patch, nut grove, community garden, and more. Each month, volunteers gather for a work party in the food forest to provide upkeep, pull weeds, expand the garden, and meet their neighbors.
