This annual event celebrates civil liberties and the people that protect them. In addition to a great reception and dinner, the ACLU of WA presents awards to people across the state working to protect civil rights. And this year, the featured speaker was Laverne Cox, an Emmy-nominated actress, documentary film producer, and prominent equal rights advocate.
